Since its conception in 1996, the GHS Theatre program has strived
to deliver outstanding live educational theatre. Occasionally, problems arrise that prevent us from staging a show originally
announced as part of our season. Such is the case for the 2008 Spring semester schedule. Barefoot
in the Park has been removed and Running Upstream has been inserted in its place.
Running Upstream is the award winning show staged by GHS at the state Thespian Conference in January.
"This is a powerful show that deserves to be seen by our home audiences" said Director of Theatre Larry Hart.
The show was ranked second at the conference and is being considered for performance at the International Thespian Festival
being held this summer at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
